Premier Alliance maintains Vessel Sharing Agreement with Evergreen on Asia-US Gulf |

Despite all alliance partner changes related to the of the 2M Vessel Sharing Agreement (MSC and Maersk) and THE Alliance and the launch of the new Gemini Cooperation (Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd) and the Premier Alliance (ONE, HMM and Yang Ming), some historicalco-operations will remain in place. One of these is the Vessel Sharing Agreement concluded in 2021 between the members of THE Alliance (Hapag-Lloyd, ONE, HMM and Yang Ming) and Evergreen on the Far East ?US Gulf trade. The partners in May 2021 launched a joint service branded ?C6?by THE Alliance members and ?UG?by Evergreen. At that time ONE provided eight ships and Evergreen two 7,000 teu ?-class?units. The ?C6 / AUG?will next month be replaced by the new Premier Alliance ?C4?loop, which has exactly the same port coverage and a rotation via the Panama Canal in both ways. Evergreen will continue to provide the 7,024 teu EVER SAFETY and EVER SUPERB and market this connection as ?UG? Turning in eleven weeks since December 2023, the joint service calls at Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Yantian, Ningbo, Shanghai, Busan, Bayport (Houston), Mobile, Balboa, Kaohsiung. In the new Premier Alliance / Evergreen ?C4 / AUG?set-up, Yang Ming will become a ship provider with two of its 6,258 teu ?-class?ships, leaving ONE to supply the remaining seven vessels with capacities of 6,700 ?8,460 teu.
