Premier Alliance halts Transpacific ?S5?loop |

The three members of the Premier Alliance (ONE, HMM and Yang Ming) will after this week? departure of the 4,922 teu NYK CONSTEL LATION on 3 September ex Qingdao no longer offer sailings of the China ?California ?S5?service. This service which was launched in June 2025, was to turn in six weeks calling at Qingdao, Ningbo, Long Beach, Oakland, Kobe, Qing dao. However, with only three ships being deployed, sailing frequency was fortnightly and calls at Oakland and Kobe were skipped. Each of the three alliance members provided one ship. The NYK CON STELLATION (ONE) was joined by the 4,662 teu YM EXPRESS and the 4,728 teu HYUNDAI GOODWILL. Yang Ming will redeploy its ship on the China ?West Coast of North America ?N3?loop, while HMM will transfer the HYUNDAI GOODWILL to the Far East ?US Gulf ?C4?service, which is jointly operated by the Premier Alliance and Evergreen.
