The U.S. CommerceDepartment on June 20 published its affirmative preliminarycountervailing duty determination on temporary steel fencing from China.Preliminary CVD rates range from 33.27 to 301.83%, with most companies subjectto an all-others rate of 86.24%.
Commercealso found that critical circumstances exist regarding most exporters, and theagency thus instructed Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to require that cashdeposits be posted not only on imports after June 20, 2025, but alsoretroactively on most companies?entries that were made on or after March 22,2025.
