Ocean Network Express (ONE), HMM and Yang Ming will further susp the Premier Alliances Far East-West Coast North America PN4 service launch that had previously be postponed from February to May. The postponement of the Pacific Northwest ?N4? which was supposed to call at Ningbo, Shanghai, Vancouver, Tacoma, Ningbo, has so far been compensated by including the two Central Chinese ports in the rotation of the ?N3?loop. This setup is now anticipated to continue until further s from the carriers. Currently, the enhanced ?N3?covers Qingdao, Ningbo, Shanghai, Busan, Vancouver, Tacoma, Busan, Qingdao with a fleet of 8 x 4,700 ?6,600 teu vessels. Besides ?N4? the three alliance members have previously also delayed the start of another Transpacific loop, the ?S5? which was inted to link Qingdao and Ningbo with Los Angeles and Oakland. During this period, Premier Alliance members have adjusted their two other Transpacific loops. The Ningbo call is covered by ?S4?while Qingdao has been added to the ?S6?loop. So far however, the three partners have not yet commented if they will go ahead with the launch of the ?S5?next month or if the loop will be susped until further notice like the aforementioned ?N4?as well.
