TS Lines adds Yantian to Transpacific ?WC2?service |

Starting in the first week of January, TS Lines will include Yantian in the rotation of its Asia ?US West Coast ?WC2?service. The new call at Shenzhen goes at the expense of Kaohsiung, which was in fact already removed last October. The revised ?WC2?will turn in six weeks calling at Xiamen, Nansha, Shekou, Yantian, Los Angeles, Xiamen. As Yantian will be the last port in Asia, transit time to Los Angeles will be limited to 16-17 days. The first vessel following the revised rotation will be the 1,808 teu TS BANGKOK, which is to commence her next Transpacific round voyage on 7 January in Xiamen. Until now, three 1,750 ?1,800 teu ships were deployed in the service offering fortnightly sailings. A fourth vessel, the 1,781 teu LITTLE DOLPHIN, will join the ?WC2?fleet on 16 January in Xiamen.
