Wan Hai Lines and ONE ext their cooperation on the Transpacific trade. The two carriers already jointly operate an Asia -US West Coast AP1 loop. As from February 2025 they will also start exchanging slots whereby Wan Hai Lines will get an allocation on the new China-Korea-USWC PS6 loop of the Premier Alliance. Both carriers filed a new slot change agreement with the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) in Washington as they will adjust the rotation of their joint AP1 service. ONE will rebrand this loop as PS7 to bring it in line with the brand names of the services of the Premier Alliance. As from February, Wan Hai Lines and ONE will decline the Shanghai and Ningbo calls on the AP1 / PS7 loop to offer faster transit times from Vietnam and South China to California. The revised rotation will read: Haiphong, Cai Mep, Shekou, Xiamen, Taipei, Los Angeles, Oakland, Shekou, Haiphong. Wan Hai Lines will continue to offer a connection between Shanghai, Ningbo, Los Angeles and Oakland by co-loading on the new PS6 loop of the Premier Alliance. This service will start with a sailing of the 13,253 teu HMM TOPAZ on 13 February from Qingdao. Succeeding to HMM? current PSX? service, the new PS6 will turn in eight weeks calling at Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Kwangyang, Busan, Long Beach, Oakland, Busan, Kwangyang, Incheon, Qingdao. Wan Hai Lines will only participate in the Shanghai, Ningbo and US calls. In return for a fixed allocation of 1,700 teu per round voyage for the Taiwanese carrier on the PS6 ONE will get another 1,943 teu on the AP1 / PS7
