One week before the launch of MSC? new Asia ?USEC ?iberty?service, the Geneva-based carrier has decided to change the rotation. The direct call at Philadelphia which was announced in the customer advisory will not materialize, but Baltimore will be served instead. The ?iberty?loop is now set to kick off with the 11 August sailing of the 6,494 teu BF HAMBURG ex Singapore. The vessel will also load at Cai Mep, but as from the second sailing ex Singapore on 16 August with the 4,432 teu MSC HOUSTON V, this port in Vietnam will be skipped to allow the new service to turn in eleven weeks. The revised rotation includes calls at Singapore, Shanghai, Busan ... (Panama Canal) ... Miami, Savannah, Charleston, Baltimore, Newark (New York), Singapore. Five out of the eleven vessels have been assigned already with capacities ranging from 4,400 to 7,400 teu.
