 COSCO and OOCL launch new ?EA3?/ ?SX?transpacific service |

Shortly after the launch of the Transpacific loop ?PV?COSCO SHIPPING Lines and its sister company OOCL are once again strengthening their joint position on this trade with a new service respectively branded as ?EA3?and ?SX?
Unlike the ?PV?the service will focus solely on California and will turn in 42 days with 5 x 8,060 ?10,600 teu vessels. The full rotation includes calls at Kaohsiung, Xiamen, Yantian, Long Beach, Kaohsiung. The XIN FEU ZHOU (8,530 teu) will be the first vessel to phase-in, starting her rotation ex Yantian on 24 June.
This service adds an average weekly capacity of 7,150 teu to the trade lane, where all ports are already served by carriers through various OCEAN Alliance services.
